The SYBLS Portraits (2025)

Having experienced these visions and presencing of astral creatures all of my life I have concluded that their repeated visitations suggests their wish to be seen. Each one a messenger, they are sibyls and sages from ungraspable dimensions of the human psyche. These emergent portraits and texts are of the entities I see and communicate with during hypnagogic and trance states. Both abstract and impressionistic each material ingression unsettles as encounters of delicacy, porousness yet bodily is somatically felt. What I'm searching for, I realise, is the moment and mark of aliveness. These are early stage maquettes of portraits I plan to enlarge as monuments to the unseen.
