Gallery of Samples and Work in Progress (2021-23)
Clay is a critical component of my practice and I investigate it in every conceivable way, that's my aim at least. Here is a preview of my Thrown work including Limoges Porcelain 'chore ware'. Inspired by the simplicity of work ware and the luxurious appropriation of French porcelain, my hope is to situate the humble and decadent in a shared space. Louis XIV of France both controlled and commoditised high fashion porcelainia setting a trend and appetite for collecting that continues today. Chore ware, as fine thrown pots, bud vases and especially bottles, reclaims porcelain to the homes and cabinets to all.

Wafer Porcelain Installation (Farrow & Ball Shoot - 2021 & 2023)
This installation was specially created for a Farrow and Ball and Liberty collaboration. Each vessel is wafer thin porcelain, some thrown and altered, other larger pieces hand build and suspended upsidedown to create unsettling and ghostly elevation. The works are unglazed.
Porcelain Choreware (Glaze and Black Iron Oxides)
Rugged Stoneware Bowls with Heavy Manganese Oxide Stain
These thrown bowls are hand altered and treated with raw oxide stains and clear matte glaze finish. The pieces are rugged, sensual, and call to be touched and used. Each bowl is a one off design. They make beautiful salad, salsa, guacamole, and cherry tomato pots,
Terracotta & Terra Sigilatta - Alchemy Vessels (Prototypes)
Early stage prototypes of an installation I'm working on focusing on Medieval alchemy rituals. Each vessel is liquid bearing and invokes organic and animal organ forms. This is a work in progress exploring mineral transformation and the scorched traces of the molten state.
